Press Release
Brad Zeimer Wins a Record-Setting Fifth Bankshot National Championship!!
The 9th annual Bankshot Tournament proved to be one of the fiercest competitions
thus far. Twenty-six Bankshot competitors from 12 different states geared
up for the tournament, 4 players earned top honors. Brad Zeimer won again
reclaiming his title of Bankshot National Champion which he lost in 1996
in Scranton, PA. Intensity filled the air as Zeimer fought to edge out
top competitors, Angelo Raga (Sieverville, TN) and Joe Hughes (Chalmers,
IN). Pushed by Hughes every step of the competition, Zeimer fought his
way to a 540-526 point win out of a possible score of 600 in three rounds
of pressure-cooker Bankshot. Zeimer not only won the competition, but
also dominated the exhibition timed event, Bank-Against-The-Clock™. Four
TV stations covered the Bankshot Nationals.
